Meet Adam: Lead Installer
Hello, August, bringing us back-to-school bashes, the ever-earlier pumpkin-spice latte (we’re looking at you, Dunkin Donuts), vine-ripened tomatoes, and the last precious hours in the neighborhood pool. But for the crew at Signs By Tomorrow, August brings an additional milestone: the work anniversary of our lead installer, Adam Buckhahn.
Adam joined our team in August of 2000, only a year after Jon’s dad opened up shop. (To put that in context, 2000 was the same year Coldplay released their debut album, and Brad and Jen were still together. What a time to be alive!). At 21 years with SBT, he’s our most tenured employee.
We’re sure grateful to have you, Adam.
In honor of Adam’s 21 years, we’d like to share a little about him.
Q.What were you doing before working at SBT?
A. Gaining experience at another sign shop.
Q.How long have you been in the sign business?
A. 27 years!
Q. Do you have any pets?
A. I have three—a dog, a cat, and a bearded dragon.
Q. If we’re able to travel, where would you like to go?
A. An Aruba vacation sounds great.
Throughout his time with us, Adam has lent his expertise to countless projects. He’s quick to solve problems and think outside the box, finding ways to install signs of all sizes and materials. Once, for Heartland Animal Hospital, Adam built a stone monument from scratch before transporting it and installing it on site.
He’ll do whatever it takes to make sure a customer is happy with the end result—after all, that’s the best part of the job.
