From concept to actualization, our fine SBT staff members are responsible for designing, creating, printing, installing, problem-solving, and making our clients happy. We’d like to take some time to properly introduce a few of them to you:
Mark, Installer and Designer, joined SBT in March of 2016. We’re excited to celebrate his five-year anniversary this month!
To *mark* this milestone, we asked Mark to share a bit about himself.
What were you doing before SBT?
I was working with a different signs company. I’ve been in the biz since 2009, so I have over 11 years of experience with signs. Design, installation, printing—you name it, I’ve done it.
What’s one of your favorite signs from the past five years?
I enjoy any of the things we do for the City of Elgin, like the Elgin Police and Fire Departments, but also projects like ones for Habitat for Humanity.
Is there a project that stands out as the most memorable?
Yes! I once spent a night inside of a Chicago bank, working through the night with Adam to install window graphics.
On your best day, what is the most satisfying part of your job?
Seeing people smile after an installation. It’s rewarding to hear how much they like the finished project.
Tell us a little about yourself. Do you have any pets?
I have a twenty-year-old dog, Kona. The vet says she’s a Beagle/Bulldog mix, but I see pug when I look at her.
When travel is allowed again, is there anywhere you’d like to visit?
I’d love to visit Italy, if possible.
Finally: What’s your sign?
